What testing and quality control do you do?
Every custom built pc is tested to the highest standards before being shipped out. We use a number of programs including Memtest, UXD, PassMark Burnin, 3D Mark Vatange, Pc Mark Vantage & a number of benchmarking programs such as Far Cry 2 Tools. All systems go throgh a series of tests including hot and cold testing, 24 hour component burnin, reboot cycles, sleep cycles & game load testing. When testing is completed your machine enters our quality control stage and goes through a detailed 30 point final check before packing and dispatch.
I am looking to purchase multiple computers, what discount can you offer?
If you want to order between 2 and 10 PC's we currently offer a standard discount of free delivery for each additional PC, so no matter how many systems you order you will only pay for one lot of delivery. We usually don't offer any further discount as our prices are among the best already but we can look at each spec and possibly offer an additional discount, contact sales for more information. If you are looking to purchase 10 to 500 systems contact us for trade prices.
Can you setup partitions for me ?
Yes we can do this for you and we don't charge for doing it. During the checkout process you will be asked on step3 to enter any comments related to the build or order. Simply enter into this box how you would like the partitions setup.
Sales Answers
Do I get the original Windows disc?
Every custom built PC comes with original CDs, manuals, cables for all the components used to assemble the PC. If an Operating System is purchased the original CD/DVD is supplied, not a recovery CD as supplied by some manufacturers.
What is the difference between 32-bit and 64-bit Windows?
We recommend buying an operating system with your PC. All operating systems come pre installed and have the latest updates and patches installed. Simply turn the PC on and your away!
If you are not sure which operating system to select we recommend Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
The following versions are 32-bit and will support a maximum amount of memory 3.2 GB. By having 32-bit system you will have less driver problems and more support for software titles as 64-bit is still very new and not all programs/hardware is 64-bit ready but you will be limited to 3.2 GB RAM when using 4 GB or more.
Windows XP Home 32-bit
Windows XP Pro 32-bit
Vista Basic 32-bit
Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Vista Business 32-bit
Vista Ultimate 32-bit
Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit
Windows 7 Pro 32-bit
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
The following operating systems support 64-bit and will run over 4 GB RAM. 64-bit will run 32-bit programs but not all 32-bit programs will work correctly. If you have a lot of older software titles we would advise going with 32-bit. If you use new titles such as any Adobe product these are all available on 64-bit mode and you would be better going with the 64-bit system.
Vista Basic 64-bit
Vista Home Premium 64-bit
Vista Business 64-bit
Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Windows XP Pro X64 64-bit
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Nearly all software and hardware developers are now releasing upgrades and patches for older titles so they can be run on 64-bit and Windows 7.
What parts are used?
We only use major branded parts from big brands in all our custom built PC's. When choosing a system we specify where possible the brand being used for some components, such as hard drive we don't state the make and model as this varies depending on the current stock. Hard drive brands we use can be either Maxtor, Seagate or Samsung, the prices and stock availability fluctuate regularly, therefore we cannot stick to one make or guarantee that a certain brand will be used.
Will a 64-bit CPU work with a 32-bit operating system?
All CPU's we sell are 64-bit but they can also run at 32-bit so if you choose a 32-bit operating system your CPU will run at 32-bit which is perfectly fine.

Warranty/Support Answers
What warranties do your computers have?
All systems come with at least 1 years warranty with the first month free collect & return. We offer a range of packages giving you warranty cover up to 3 years.
Will I void my warranty by opening the case?
We allow you to open your case and add new parts, but by doing this you agree that any damage you may cause to the system cannot be covered under the warranty. So if you open your case, add a new hard drive and 4 months down the line you need to make a warranty claim you can and you will be covered but if you open the case, add a hard drive and snap the motherboard while doing it we cannot cover this under the warranty. If you are unsure or have any questions please contact us.
