If you use your keyboard for long periods of time it's worth while investing in a good quality keyboard.

There is often a tiny speaker built into your MB to warn you of error conditions, but for music, etc. the sound quality is awful. Tiny speakers are often built into your monitor, which may be good enough for a basic music and speech but for quality sound you need to invest in quality speakers. Connections to your PC range from a mini-jack plug for headphones on most MBs, to a supplementary audio card with, say, 5:1 connectors.
