At Computer Planet we choose to give customers the manufacturers warranty.
Manufacturers of components give warranty on selected components for an additional 2 to 5 years.
Example:
Intel CPU's - 3 year warranty.
Seagate and Western Digital hard drives - 3 year warranty.
Corsair memory - lifetime warranty.
Asus & Gigabyte motherboards - 3 years.
To take advantage of this after the 1 year period you can raise an RMA with Computer Planet or return the product directly to the manufacturer. You will be liable for shipping the part and the cost of shipping the part back to you.
