Shortage of memory is the most common reason for a system slowing down. With Windows 10 your system will barely stagger along with 4 GB. It will work steadily with 8GB but ideally you should go for 16GB. Gaming & CAD work will run fine with 16 GB but 32 GB will future proof the PC.
All graphics cards will support 2 monitors. Higher models will support 3 and 4 monitors. If your looking to play games you should buy the best card you can on your budget. If it's for general usage a basic card will be fine.
We supply unbranded graphics cards. The unbranded cards have the standard specification from NVIDIA and usually PALIT or ZOTAC branded but subject to stock at the time of ordering. Asus RTX cards are overclocked models with advanced cooling and different designs. The Asus cards cost more but give better performance, better looks and less fan noise.

Regular Hard Drive
This is a mechanical drive with high capacity to store a lot of data. We recommend this as the primary drive for value systems and the secondary drive for high performance systems.
High Performance drives that have less storage space but are 20 to 30% faster than a regular hard drive. We recommend this as the primary drive in your if you are gaming or want an ultra fast PC.

Raid 1 provides fault tolerance from disk errors and failure of all but one of the drives. Increased read performance occurs when using a multi-threaded operating system that supports split seeks. Array continues to operate so long as at least one drive is functioning.
If one hard drive fails the 2nd hard drive will continue running without loss of data, the faulty drive can be replaced and the array will be rebuilt.
Raid 0 provides improved performance and additional storage but no fault tolerance, both drives are linked to make one big drive giving much better performance than a standard single drive.

We offer a choice of wireless cards with different supported speeds. The faster cards will give you faster speeds when moving data between devices in your own home but it won't make any difference to the speed of the internet. If you have a 100 MB internet connection then having the 600 MB wireless card will not make the internet faster.
