What warranty comes with the PC?
Any PC system ordered from Computer Planet includes 2 years collect & return warranty.
This covers all components within the PC and all collection and delivery costs for a period of 2 year and any labour incurred in year 2 and 3 should that part not covered under the manufactures warranty scheme outside the 2 year period.
We also include as standard our collect and return service, meaning should the PC need to be returned our couriers will arrange to collect and return the goods to you ensuring no return carriage charges will be payable.
A selected number of component manufacturers have extended warranty schemes applicable after the 1 year parts warranty we offer has elapsed, but for added peace of mind to ensure you have cover for all components in your PC you may wish to consider our extreme warranty covering all parts in the PC for a period of 3 years regardless of the manufacturers own warranty scheme.

We only offer discounts for orders of 10+ machines in one order. Due to the low competitive prices we already sell at and our 2 year collect & return warranty included as standard we are limited on the discount available but free to contact us to discuss a discount.

Which drive do you install Windows on?
Windows is installed on the fastest/smallest drive in the PC. For example if you order a 480 GB SSD and 2 TB HDD we will install on the 480 GB SSD. If you order a 512 GB M.2 and 480 GB SSD we will install on the faster 512 GB M.2.

Delivery Questions
How long does it take to build?
Our standard production time is 9 working days. Delivery to any UK mainland address is next working day from when production has finished.
For an additional fee when you customise a PC you can select express build options to reduce the production time from 9 working days to 7 working days or 5 working days.
Production runs start each week day at 2PM so if you order before 2PM production that will be the first day of production.
If you need a PC quicker our Next Day PCs ship the same day for delivery next day on orders placed before 3pm.

Do I need to be in to take delivery?
24 hours before the order is dispatched you will be emailed notification the order is on the way. On the day of delivery you will get an email and SMS message from FedEx to confirm shipping. In the event you are not going to be in FedEx will attempt delivery the next working day and do this 3 times. After this time you will be given the option to collect from your local FedEx depot or have the order returned to be shipped at another date.
